1. The best gas prices in my area are at a Murphy's station in Thornton, Colorado. About six weeks ago I paid $2.32, which is ridiculously low. This past Tuesday gas was at $2.74 which was low. The very next day at the same station, gas was $3.37. How could gas go up sixty-three cents in one day? (It is now down to $2.15)
2. My wife was dog sitting and she was waiting for a box of wipes. I opened the box and read the below words off the box and she had no idea what it was. Then I looked on the side of the same box and it said wipes. Why would wipes have vitamin E and aloe vera? And what's the tea tree and chamomilla recutita? I've been told it's better for you when you use the wipes.
3. Is it AI or A.1.? No disrespect to artificial intelligence, but am I the only one who mixes it up with A.1. steak sauce?
4. Do people really put orange juice in their cereal? According to Ms. Google, 15 million people have tried the combination and in 2022 Tropicana introduced a special granola cereal. (I have tried it with Cocoa Krispies by accident and it was awful)
5. Speaking of cereal, do most people drown their cereal with milk or just put some milk in their cereal? I'm in the latter group.
6. Did you ever wonder what they do when dig a big hole for a house? Where do they put all the dirt? This is the top of the pile that is from the house they just started next to us. It's a mountain!
7. I came home after paying $2.32 for gas and I was pretty happy that I saved a few dollars. My wife told me that she had to get two eyeglasses and they cost just under $1,000.00. (Yes, $1,000) She went online and found almost exactly the same pair for less than one hundred dollars each. I shouldn't have said anything about the gas.
8. Did you ever notice when you go to the same car wash the car does not come out the same? Sometimes there is more water to dry off on the car and sometimes it doesn't look as clean as other times?
9. Am I the only one who has pulled up to a gas pump, swiped my card, put the gas hose into my car and minutes later taken it out and then pulled away without gas? Someone must have done this once because you weren't watching the gas go in and you were something else. I have done more than a few times and less than ten, really.
10. How long can you take medicine out of a medicine holder without realizing there is writing on it? Below is a picture of the new medicine holder my wife bought and next to it is the one I've been using for a long time. If the light is shining on it a certain way I can see writing on it and it's for each day of the week! I had no idea.
