Not me of course, I drink mostly water. And, I'm not referring to alcohol either. Years ago I used to go into gas station convenience stores and have difficulty walking around all the soda that was stacked up around the store. I remember thinking, who is buying all this soda and are they really drinking it? The answer is, a lot of people are drinking it and some people drink way too much soda.
If you missed this from the news last week, this is pretty remarkable. A man, Andy Currie, in Bangor, North Wales, drank the equivalent of 30 cans of Pepsi every day for twenty years. He actually drank it out of 4-5 two liter bottles every day. He said, "I've always loved the taste of cold Pepsi." Working in a supermarket he would buy Pepsi every day after work and spent about $8,500 a year on Pepsi. He admitted that he could have bought a car each year with that money.
Nor surprisingly he was very overweight and having a number of health issues. A therapist and hypnotist diagnosed him with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. He hypnotized the 39 year old man and cured him online. Andy drank water for the first time in two decades and has not had any Pepsi and he feels a lot better and has lost weight too..
So, what are your addictions? Most likely they are not as serious as this man. However, it can be difficult to break a habit that is not helping you in your life and may be hurting you. Pick one habit and make a decision to change it, you can do it if you want to. Once you develop a habit of not doing whatever it is you can pick another too. Whatever you did, don't drink too much soda.
